“ First time eating at Slim Chickens after seeing an ad on TV. FANTASTIC! The chicken tenders were cooked to perfection. The fried pickles and okra were some of the best I've ever had. (And as a fan, I've tried plenty!) Not inexpensive, but well worth the portions. The staff was friendly and helpful and the booths and area were clean. Thank goodness there's not one too close by or it'd be dangerous. :-) ”

My husband and I were both pleased with our meals and the fried pickles we shared. We enjoyed all our food, but I would eat here again just for the cayenne ranch. We have frequented the Ashland location and were thrilled for Slim Chickens to come to Lexington. Overall great experience and we will be back! ”
“ 10/24/24 My husband and I ordered a to go order from here. Slim Chickens exceeded our expectations! We ordered the 5 tenders and 5 wings meal to share, and every bite was packed with flavor. The chicken was perfectly cooked—crispy on the outside, juicy and tender on the inside. We were especially impressed by the variety of sauces available, all made in-house, adding a uniqueness to every bite. The restaurant itself was very nice, clean and had a welcoming atmosphere. The staff were attentive and friendly. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and we’ll definitely be back soon! ”
“ We are loving this new restaurant! We really enjoy the menu. Got to love those chicken wings. The Texas toast comes buttered on both sides. They have a huge drink selection with a self-serve fountain. The desserts are fantastic and presented in the cutest southern style; Little mason jars filled with Oreos brownies, whipped cream and pie. Are only complaint is it's definitely not speedy delivery on the food but the atmosphere is pretty relaxed to sit and wait. Follow us for more great reviews ™ ”
